The Gatlin Cup 2022

RECAP
The recent Gatlin Cup was held at the Florida Tennis Center in Daytona Beach November 18-20, 2022. There were three divisions for this team doubles tournament with six teams in the 65s, won by Joe Rasgado's North Carolina team, six teams in the 70s, won by Manson Hill's Hilton Head team and four teams in the 75s, won by Larry Albritton's Naples team. In all there were 125 senior players who participated in 106 matches over the three days. As in the past, the Florida Tennis Center with its 24 courts and great staff provided a wonderful venue for this very competitive event. Steve Cook and Kristen Okarski worked extra hard to overcome the two hurricanes that visited Daytona in the month before. Many thanks to Cindy Kermode for her diligence in capturing the fun and camaraderie of the team concept with her pictures.
